I am all excited, snow is in the air and it was a great training session on Saturday. I love natural intervals and what a great group.
This weekend is supposed to be a bit snowy as well so that means we are going to do a bit more of the same, this time we will throw in a twist, 1 of the 8 min intervals will be on the ski erg and the other 2 will be bounding/running.
Training this week
Barrie Training
Tuesday - Ron's House 148 Napier, Barrie, Ontario. 4-6pm - double pole strength & stairs
Thursday - Hardwood Ski & bike, 4-6pm - roller ski 60 min then strength
Saturday - Hardwood Ski & bike 9-12pm Threshold intensity and Clean the house - yes thats right we are going to transform the pigsty we call the house into a training centre.
Toronto Training
Tuesday - Riverdale - 5:30 to 7:30 please bring your running shoes, ski walking poles and head lamp.
Upperbody Strength
3 sets of the following**note if you don't have access to a roller board or ski erg then you can use theraband or elastics
Roller board - 20 pulls or 20 erg pulls or 20 theraband or elastics
15 push-ups - fast
10 incline pull-up fast
1 min plank
30 sec side plank
30 sec side plan other side
15 one leg squat
